Five years ago we decided to pursue adoption. We had no idea at that time that our journey would bring us to Haiti and match us with this amazing little girl. We loved her before we even knew her and have prayed tirelessly for the day she would be a Thibodeau. That day has finally come and we are overwhelmed with joy and thanksgiving!!! PRAISE GOD!!!
Tarah is a sweet, spunky, soon to be six year old and she is a prefect fit for our family! She loves to be with people and loves to be in on the action! She can usually be seen with a big smile on her face, giggling away! She will have lots of spirit and will keep us on our toes. (Pray for us!)
Now that Haiti considers Tarah our daughter we move on to a stage called MOI. They will check all of our paperwork to make sure it is legal and accurate and nothing is missing. At the end of this stage we will get her passport and then on to visa!!! We are looking at 4-6 months until homecoming. (We're getting there!!) I have it in my head that she'll be home before the end of summer just to avoid disappointment, but if you all could be praying for the 4 month timeframe I would SO appreciate it!!!! 🎉
